After the residential FIT (Feed-in Tariff) period ends, will surplus electricity be taken without payment?

After the fixed price purchase period ends, you can continue to sell surplus electricity to the same power company as before, or you can choose a new retail electricity supplier to sell to. Only if you have not signed a purchase contract with any retail electricity supplier, will general electricity transmission and distribution companies take over surplus electricity that you were not able to consume free of charge as a temporary and exceptional measure.
